PSNStores Weekly Roundup: November 26th – December 2nd 2012

It has been a bit of a slower week for new releases which made it a good time to catch up on some great PSM titles. I spent time with PSM’s first music rhythm game Frederic – Resurrection of Music which combines a wacky story with great sounding music (with a handy dandy review coming soon) and Heavy Spectrum Entertainment Labs two puzzle titles Bullion Blitz and Puzziball which are great fun and available for free (with in-app purchases to unlock fully). Besides PlayStation Mobile titles my Vita seen a lot of Smart As playtime (cough cough) and I finally hit S rank in Treasure Park. What games took up your precious gaming time this week?

Of course don’t expect this slow down of releases to continue as we got word on some of December’s big releases this week. This coming Tuesday we’ll see the NA PSN release of Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus the HD port of the fan favorite PS2 game. The side scrolling shmup Big Sky Infinity for PSN/Vita hits the week after along with Surge the newest PSM offering from one of PSNStores favorite developers Futurlab. To round it off Labyrinth Legends, the multiplayer dungeon crawler from PSN veterans Creat Studios, will be releasing on the 18th. It seems it was a bit of a catchup week for the podcast as not one, not two, but three episodes of your favorite podcast dedicated to PSN games was released. That’s a whopping  five hours and eleven minutes of PSN goodness (plus movies/TV/randomness) to listen to. You can also give your ears a break and check out our reviews for Pid, Burn the Rope, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, and Wicked Monsters Blast! HD.
