First Ever Trailer for Let’s Fish! Hooked On for Vita

PSNStores had a really great opening interaction with the fine folks at Wired Productions and SIMS when they kindly answered our questions and gave us exclusive images for Vita’s first fishing game. But its the EU PlayStation Blog that gets the very first trailer, and now we can finally get a glimpse of the game in action.

If you’re just reading about Let’s Fish! Hooked On for the first time, its a fishing game coming from the Japanese developer better known for the original SEGA Bass Fishing on Dreamcast. This is evident in the trailer seen above. This new game will feature the hand drawn art of Poyoyon Rock, 4 characters, 9 different kinds of fish, 240 lures, 11 outdoor fishing locations, and four modes of play. One of which is the bandaid-laden story driven World Tour mode.

Wired Productions has done an incredible job teasing this game over the past few months. They have teased more screenshots, videos, and a release date before. On September 11th, Sean Walsh, product manager at Wired Productions, ended an EU PS Blog post with “Lots more screenshots, artworks and videos will be released in the coming weeks, along with the release date.”

More than two months later, this post is no different as Walsh again leaves us with “We’ll be announcing the release date and pricing details shortly.” I remain excited for this game as I hope our readers do. Vita could use a fishing game, and one looking as good as Let’s Fish! Hooked On will hopefully be worth the wait.
