PSNStores Weekly Roundup: June 3rd – 9th 2013

Before the big rush of new game announcements coming this week at E3 I took some time to knock some more games off my backlog, beating Derrick The Deathfin, 100 percenting Joe Danger 1 and 2, and finally finishing off Persona 4(after an embarrassing amount of hours). I also played through the  recently released PSM metroidvania Ascent of Kings and put my friends to some manual labour in Toro’s Friend Network, the new freemium time waster game that was released in this weeks store update. You can see some of Toro’s Friend Network in action in this weeks Live Stream (with even a cameo by yours truly) along with Strength of the Sword 3, Quell Memento, and LIMBO which were also released this week.

If last weeks Jacob Jones tip wasn’t enough to help you finish off those trophies Nick was back again with Tips & Tricks 5, showing you the steps to solving the rest of the trophy linked puzzles. Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery also had a good showing in the top selling PSN games for May, grabbing the 4th spot in NA and the 2nd in the EU. Check out the full list to see how your favorites from May fared against the competition. This week also seen an anniversary of sorts with the big 100th episode of the PSNStores podcast. Give it a listen to hear the guys talk about kickstarters, tropes, Carlo Rossi, and favorite moments from past episodes. Oh and something called PSN games, if you have ever heard of them.

Like I mentioned above this week coming is the Electronic Entertainment Expo and Chris and Nick will be attending and get a chance to see all the announcements in person and getting some time in with the games we will all be playing in the future (not jealous at all…).
