Mamorukun Curse! Coming to PSN July 16th

UFO Interactive Games is bringing over Japanese “cute ’em up” Mamorukun Curse! to the North American PlayStation Network. The game plays as a top-down shooter and looks to be just shy of a scrolling shmup. As you can see in the trailer, there are definitely some bullet hell moments to be had in Mamorukun Curse! I think the shtick is that a bunch of Chosen Souls have been plucked from the living world and have to fight their way out of the Netherworld.

The NA version of the game will include three game modes, online leaderboards, all of the previously released DLC from the original Japanese version, and 66 trophies to unlock. That’s a load of content for $19.99.

Again, the game should be available July 16th on the NA store. Has anyone played or heard of this game before? The trailer looks pretty rad, actually.
