PSNStores Weekly Roundup: December 3rd – December 9th 2012

Some pretty big titles were released in this weeks PSN Store update. The original Mass Effect finally made its way to the PS3, Guardians of Middle-Earth (the MOBA game based on the Lord of the Rings) was released, and even a demo for NI NO KUNI (the Level 5/Studio Ghibli joint) which happens to be one of the games I am looking forward to most in 2013 is now available. And I’ve never played any of them. Nope my time was spent almost entirely on rhythm gaming with DJMax Technika Tune and card collecting with Uncarded…oops I mean Uncharted: Fight For Fortune. Did any of you guys pick up or play anything interesting this week?

Thanks to the ever informative Hong Kong PlayStation site we have word of a new PS2 classic that will be gracing us with its presence this Tuesday, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. While its not definite yet it would be pretty great to play one of the best GTA games on the PS3, especially for those who have newer systems without backwards compatibility. (Update: The Drop has confirmed that the title will be available in this weeks update in NA) But that’s not all. Black Knight Sword, an action platformer from Grasshopper Manufacture, and the #YOPO shmup Big Sky Infinity will both be available this Tuesday for your gaming pleasure.  As always keep an eye on our Upcoming PSN Titles list and weekly Sneak Peeks to catch a glimpse of what you could be playing soon.

We had a chance to ask the founder of Eclipse Games, Eduardo Jimenez, a few questions about Ecofish, one of the titles released in this weeks PlayStation Mobile update. Be sure not to miss that one to learn more about the company and this Qix inspired PSM title. You can also check out Eric’s review of ZooZooGo! to see if this animal puzzle game is right for you.

To finish off this roundup I would like to mention that the Kickstarter for Sportsfreinds is now in its final stretch with 16 hours left (as this writing) and just under $12,000 to go.
