Big Sky Infinity Has Cross Buy And More…

When we posted last week about the upcoming release of Big Sky Infinity we didn’t really know what features the game would have. Would it be Cross Buy, would it use Cloud Saves, all of this was unknown. Well today we can shed some light on the features of not only the PS3 version, but the Vita one as well.

First off both versions support Cross Save, that means you can sync your progress via cloud saves on both the PS3 and Vita versions. And you will in fact have both versions of the game if you buy one because it supports the You Only Pay Once (#YOPO) aka Cross Buy model. The game also supports leaderboards so you can play against friends and players from all around the world. If you have a WIFI Vita, you don’t need to worry though as the game will upload your high scores the next time you are connected to the internet.

There are some platform exclusive features as well. On PS3 you can play the game in Stereoscopic 3D as well as playing with up to 4 players in a local co-op mode. On Vita there are touch screen controls with the option to use rear touch for mine detonation. Instead of having local co-op, the Vita version supports an Asynchronous game of Horse that you can play by uploading custom challenges. And it wouldn’t be a Vita game if there wasn’t some sort of near gifting option. Big Sky Infinity has near gifts that can be used to unlock things in game.

We now also have a price to report. The game will be $9.99 on the North American store and £7.99/€9.99 in the EU. But EU PlayStation Plus members can grab the game for free this month starting on release day which is next week December 11th or 12th depending on your region.
