PSNStores Weekly Roundup: October 29th – November 4th 2012

This week marked the release of the redesigned PlayStation Store for North America and with it came big changes to the look and feel. But with all the fancy new looks there are still some areas which could see some improvements and after putting in some time with the update Nick listed his top 5 (and if you have any thoughts/comments on the store update make sure to leave them in the comments).

If your PlayStation Move has been collecting dust lately (or you are just looking for something else to play after The Unfinished Swan) we have good news as Wicked Monsters BLAST! will be coming to NA on November 13th for the mere price of $9.99. Originally released in Europe a couple of months back in September Wicked Monsters BLAST! is a party game/shooting gallery that sees you taking control of one of nine monsters with plans for world domination. Now from monsters to hamsters (there’s a connection there right…right) fans of The Game Atelier Mini’s title Flying Hamster might have something to look forward to as the Korean Games Rating Board, similar to the ESRB for NA or PEGI for EU, has rated Flying Hamster HD for release by Sony Computer Entertainment Korea. While no platform was mentioned and we have no information on a release date (in or outside of Korea) playing a HD version of one of the best Mini’s titles would be a blast, especially on the Vita.

We have seven new reviews for you this week including the Vita’s first brain training game Smart As and the newest chapter in the private investigator series Red Johnson’s Chronicles: One Against All.

While there was plenty of triple AAA releases this week on PS3 and Vita you shouldn’t forget about PlayStation Mobile as two more games were released for the platform. You can check out Chris’s impressions of  sixty second shooter Deluxe and QuizQuizQuiz  in this weeks PSM Quick Play, and if you are looking for more info on sixty second shooter you can take a gander at our interview with the developer Happion Labs. We end off with this past week’s Global Store Update and a Sneak Peek at the November 6th NA update. All of this and more in this edition of the PSNStores Weekly Roundup:
