PSNStores Weekly Roundup: November 19th – November 25th 2012

If you happen to be a Vita owner then this was probably a great week for your favorite portable. Not only did Persona 4 Golden get released (which is currently sitting at the top of the Vita charts at a not too shabby 95% on Metacritic) but PS+ also debuted with a slew of awesome games. Personally I took advantage of a plane ride to finally play Jet Set Radio, as I was not one of the lucky ones to have a Dreamcast when the game was originally released, and of course exercised my brain with some Smart As. What games did you end up enjoying this past week?

Speaking of the Vita Sony officially released the 1.0 version of the PlayStation Mobile SDK to the public this week marking the official launch of PSM. While you wont find much change right away updating to 1.0, it should make it easier for developers to get their content in your hands which is always a good thing.

It seems Sega is making sure their classic games are never going to be forgotten (and thank god for that) as they have announced that they are bringing  Virtua Fighter 2, Sonic the Fighters, and Fighting Vipers to PSN this week coming in North America and Europe one week later for the budget price of $4.99/£3.69/€4.49. If you haven’t guessed from the titles these games are one-on-one fighters that were developed by Sega AM2 for the arcades back in the mid 90’s and will be the complete versions of the originals with added trophy support and online multiplayer.

In reviews this week you can check out my not too impressed thoughts on the newest entry in the long running Worms series, Worms: Revolution.

With the very busy holiday season quickly approaching (or already here according to stores right after Halloween) its always nice to get something back for the money you spend. Well if you are planing on making any purchases on the PS Store now is a great time as they are running another money back promoation. Spend $60 bucks before November 27th, which is this coming tuesday, and get $10 back. Not a bad deal if you were planing on stocking up on some digital games for the holidays. Once again we finish off another Weekly Roundup with this weeks past Global Store Update, PlayStation Mobile Update, and a Sneak Peek at the November 27th NA Update:
