  • Add-on content available at launch, with additional Decks, Avatars, playable characters and Duels!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist will launch this summer on PS4 for $19.99. The digital add-ons will cost $4.99 each.

No word on if Ultra Street Fighter IV PS4’s Other Ocean Interactive is returning to develop this one.

I have to say that this is more than what I was expecting given the last two Yu-Gi-Oh! home console games. It kind of sounds like an alternate take on the same concept behind Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V Tag Force Special with a bunch of alterations. Advertising day-1 DLC card packs does set off some alarm bells, though. Yu-Gi-Oh! Decade Duels and Millennium Duels were a chore to play to grind good cards if you weren’t interested in paying for DLC.

I haven’t played Yu Gi Oh since Dawn of Destiny on the original xbox. I did watch the original tv show though and my boy is into it, so this is most likely getting downloaded by me.

    • JonathanisPrimus

Right now Legacy of the Duelist has only been announced for North America, so yep. I’m sure it’ll land in Europe too.

Haven’t played yugioh in forever but I might check this out if only because I miss fusing creatures together.

for the love god Other Ocean Interactive sucks at making net code this will FLOP bad if they develop this game.

    • KoolADBestRapper

How bad could it really be with a card game? There isn’t any action going on. You don’t need to land any 1 frame links… What is the problem?

    • Peacock

trying play the garbage PS3 games online. that came B!tching back to me. worst net code every.

  • Jax

Love this game but $20? That’s it? Let me guess. Latest cards come as $10 DLC packs?
