Update: Sony has posted a video on the PlayStation Blog showing off some of the features:

Much like Canada and Mexico earlier today, PlayStation users in the United States now have access to the SEN Webstore. This means that if you want, you don’t have to use that slow and frustrating store that is currently on your PS3. To check it out just follow this link.

Some features that you will notice: Old search is back for the webstore and you can add to your wallet via Paypal. It also runs a heck of a lot faster than the PS3 counterpart. You can read what I thought about the store when it launched in Europe a few months back.

Do you plan on using this store or the one on PS3?

That’s what I said. This makes my life a wee bit easier. But I swear not to spend more money just because of this.

That you have to write that under your own article makes it very clear what a PoS the new Store really is. It’s slow as F*CK and is a straight design rip-off of Microsoft’s Metro design without the benefits of it.
Nice to see new functionality though, even if the Xbox had this for 7 years already.

Not supported on the PS-Vita Web Browser.
