Starbound is headed to PS4 and PSVita

After fleeing your home world you soon crash land on another and from there Starbound sets you on a quest to survive, discover, and fight your way across the universe. Originally announced for PC the game is now officially headed to the PS4 and PSVita.

Starbound allows you to explore various planets (all of which will be randomly generated and populated with unique things to find) to claim resources, build, search through dungeons for treasure, complete quests, interact with NPC’s and do everything alone or with friends. From the sound of things Starbound gives you a universe to explore and do whatever you want with. Personally I like the idea of following quest lines that let you solve different “galactic mysteries”.

Starbound is scheduled to release on PS4 and PSVita sometime next year.
