PSNStores Pinball Arcade Tournament Update: We Have A Sponsor! [CLOSED]
I just wanted to update the details to our first ever PSNStores Tournament. Hopefully you all own a copy of The Pinball Arcade on PS3 and Vita. It’s not only a Cross-Buy entitled game, but has been available for free to PS Plus subscribers. So don’t delay, go download the core game for free right now.
As for our Pinball Arcade Tournament, I’ll offer you the big news first: FarSight Studios is now the official sponsor for the PSNStores Pinball Arcade Tournament! I couldn’t be more excited to reveal this to everyone. But what does it mean? It means that they are providing us with some pretty cool prizes.
Let’s talk about those prizes, shall we? First of all, PSNStores will award a $20 PSN Card to the 1st AND 2nd place winners. This is coming straight out of Noah and Andrew’s pocket so be sure to give them mad props for this.
FarSight Studios comes in now to award the top 10% a PSN voucher code for the Star Trek: The Next Generation and Twilight Zone custom ball sets. FarSight Studios will also award a grand prize featuring a voucher code for the core game to the 1st place winner. (This will allow that person to outright OWN the game without a $50/year PS Plus subscription or they can gift it to someone that doesn’t have the game.)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
STEP 1: Add contestps to your PSN Friends List. If you need help, click here to learn how to add a friend to your PSN Friends List.
STEP 2: Check out Noah’s previous post to brush up on the Rules and his FAQ. Leave us a comment below if you have an unanswered question. I’ll go over the rules once more here JIC.
The tournament will begin this Monday, July 29th and will run for eight weeks, each week featuring a new table. At the end of each week, points will be awarded based on your position in the Friends Leaderboard. At the end of the competition, Noah will determine the 1st and 2nd place winners, as well as who has made it into the top 10%.
Noah will announce the table of the week every Sunday night, so check back frequently or add PSNStores.com to you favorite RSS Reader to be notified right away. Mine is gReader on Android via a Feedly account.
In the meantime, I insist you scope out what FarSight Studios is doing with our beloved Pinball Arcade for PS4. Check out the new lighting tech and how smooth it plays. This was the table I got to play at E3 2013 and it was smooth indeed.
