Update: ESRB Rating: Machinarium Is PSVita Bound?

Update: After talking with Jakub from Amanita Design we have some more information. The PS3 version is still slated to come out this summer as we reported before.

As for a Vita version of the game he told us that, “we’d like to bring the game also to Vita but that isn’t confirmed by Sony yet.” So it seems that this ESRB rating might just be a preemptive move. We will keep you update if we get any more news.

Machinarium’s ESRB rating has recently been updated to reflect an additional platform. Looks like the game, that has been slated to come to PSN for some time now, is also Vita bound.

Machinarium is an adventure game developed by Amanita Design and focuses on a robot named Josef that was discarded in a scrapyard. Along the adventure you’ll foil a bomb plot and rescue his robot girlfriend.

We’ve reached out to the developer for comment on this and we’ll be sure to update you as soon as we know more.
