Last month, rumors were abound that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (Castlevania: HD, get it) was making its way to the PlayStation Network. Konami today has squashed those rumors with the official announcement of the title.
Later this summer players will not only get the base game released on XBLA, but for having to wait a full year Konami is throwing in some extras. In addition to the 6 player online co-op, PSN players will get the ability to play the game locally with up to 3 other friends. Also some of the game’s DLC will make its way into the package, the “Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire” Map pack aka Pyramid of Ruin level and two extra characters Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades.
No price has been confirmed at this time, but the game runs for 1200 Microsoft Points or roughtly $15. We will keep you updated if anything else gets announced.
