Screens and Info: Under Siege

Back in February Eurogamer Portugal got a hands-on preview of the upcoming PSN game Under Siege. I have had these screens for a while and never posted them so I guess now is my chance. I hate using Google Translate, but I have no knowledge of Portuguese :(. So enjoy the 20 screens I have and some insight on the game.

When people first look at the game they think RTS, “Real Time Strategy”, but in fact the development team considers it an RTT, or “Real Time Tactics”, game. The article says that after a battle, the next one will start with the same conditions, so you troops will still be weak, stuff like that. You will have to spend your money wisely, this is how the game differs from a normal RTS.

As you can tell the game looks really good graphically. The art style really stands out. It will runs at a full 1080p resolution at 30fps. There is also a lot of dynamic lighting going on and the shadows look really nice. The colors and style remind me of Trine.

When the PlayStation Move launches this fall, Under Siege will be ready to support it. They have been working hard to have Move support and even though the Move got pushed back to the Fall, the game will still come out this Spring.

When we are a little closer to launch I will set up an interview with the developers so we can learn a little more about it. They currently have a Developer’s Blog up that is in English if you want to see what they are up to.
