The following games received updates:

MUSYNC (Inferno…)
Flight World Simulator (Johan Valfridsson)

  • What happened to PS Mobile…

    • Freelance

It went to the dogs once Sony gave away PSM dev kits for free. Decent games still come out once in a blue moon though. Flight World Simulator is the best PSM game I’ve played in a long time.

    • Maggard

Sony dropped the ball by failing to place quality control at the correct level for PSM Submissions after giving away the development software. Without the ability of users to post reviews beyond a star rating, the Store makes it difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.
      .:.
Perhaps PSNstores could set up an alternative or point us in the right direction. Where is the best site to see the PSM apps available and read reviews from users who played or bought the apps. In addition to the Apps, I want Reviews and Discussions on the PSM Submitters. It helps knowing how long they have existed, number of PSM apps & PS-Vita programs, average ratings on apps and info on the development team.
      .:.
I knew things were going bad when Flappy-clones started flooding in. I really wanted PSM to be a mark of quality. I hoped to see the cream of tge Android apps to be added, knowing they took advantage of Xperia Play & PS-Vita additional inputs beyond touch screen. Dreamed of PSM tying into the PSN Trophy system and Sony allowing buyers to install at least on three devices so play covers PS-Vita PSM on phone and PSM on Tablet. Now I fear it is not to be.
      .:..:.

    • Freelance

There were some PSM titles that was announced before they gave away the dev software. One of them was a port of a FB game that looked pretty cool. It had cube cats and you had to line them up or something, like a match 3 puzzle game in an isometric viewpoint. What the heck happened to it? It’s been over a year now with no mention of it.

  • Half of the pictures never seem to load for me.. :/

  • Maggard

Any chance these updates could include the English translation? I do not have the ability to use any translation site on the PS-Vita Browser.
    .:..:.

    • JonathanisPrimus

Sorry, but I’d rather not include Google Translate text in an article.

  • Maggard

Is there an article covering the announcement of support for PSM being dropped for Android devices? Supposedly the xPeria products are no longer able to use the PSM app to access the apps.

    • JonathanisPrimus

We didn’t write an article on it since it was expected, but Sony has abandoned PSM for Android. They won’t be updating the store or games to be compatible with new Android firmware. This was expected, as they dropped Android development from the newer SDKs.

  • Eric G

The descriptions to these games are hilarious and/or disturbing. “The attention span of the game which is built, also 10 bodies, in a variety of boss battles.” “fantastic adventure game of 5 balls. “
