What does The Pinball Arcade’s upcoming “Super Patch” entail?

FarSight Studios is fairly good at keeping mum about exactly what they are working on, likely because they are working on so many things at once. One such project they have been working on for quite some time and plan to release on April 1st is the “Super Patch” coming to the PS3 and Vita versions of The Pinball Arcade. But what does it fix and what new features can we look forward to?
Fortunately, we got a sneak peek from our pal Mike Lindsey over at FarSight into what is coming in this supposed “Super Patch”. Let’s take a look…
PS3/Vita Super Patch:
- Fixed bugs
- Upgraded lighting on some tables
- Upgraded textures on some tables
- Improved performance (especially in the Vita version)
- Added 3D
Unfortunately, I was expecting a more fleshed out list of changes, but we can just use our imagination for now. Something that has taken this long should entail more changes and specific bug fixes. I still hold out faith that FarSight does in fact have a master list of changes somewhere close to their chest and I will update this post if ever they decide to indulge us with all the details.
