I bought all 4 games that were added to the US store. If I have time I will record some video.

    • Brian Chase

      looking forward to it!

I grabbed Decision (49©) and am interested in re:Marriage. Anything that may help keep my beautiful wife happy is needed. May pickup if your demo does okay not knowing Japanese, or in hope they add English soon.

The premise of Decision sounds pretty cool, but it also seems like it wouldn’t have much replay value (I’m not really sure if the game has an ending though, or if it’s only about getting a higher score). And graphically, the game doesn’t look too hot (in screens anyway, maybe it looks better in motion). But at that price, I’d be willing to overlook those things as long as it plays well.

Earth Assault looks pretty cool, but I’m not sure if the game will justify that high of a price tag.

When I heard there was a powerup option I gave up the will to buy it. I have this talk at the bar with my buddy a lot, he loves shmups with an in game shop where you can grind and what not but I claim it defeats the purpose of a shmup being that it is one of the only genres that avoided the RPG craze and rather than gradually scaling up with your enemies to the point where the game never feels any harder you actually are being challenged and rewarded for skill. Either way, if you pick either up please let us know what you think.

Bloodred Wyvern is not available in Canada but you probably know that already. The other games are there.

There was also a patch for Monster Hotel this week: http://www.xmptgames.co.uk/blog/?p=458

Is anyone doing a reviewon TuneIn (aka RadioTime) app?
    If not, may I?

  • Ed Moffatt

Haha, “Divorce-avoidance-sim”. Strange how that’s such an under-used genre, no?
As a minor aside, our game (Monster Hotel, XMPT Games), got a patch in this store update. You can read the patch notes on our blog if you’re interested – just a few minor changes :)

I would love to see a review for Earth Assault, the game looks cool.
