Star Trek: The Next Generation table coming to Pinball Arcade next week

The second crowd funded pinball table from FarSight Studios is now scheduled to be delivered to the PlayStation Store for PS3 and Vita on March 19th, next Tuesday. Like the Twilight Zone table before it, Star Trek: The Next Generation will be sold on its own for $4.99, and is a #YOLO Cross-Buy purchase.

Bobby King took to the Official PlayStation Blog this morning to unveil this news and more. Including the release date of Table Pack 10 set as March 26th, featuring the widebodied Genie table and Attack From Mars, previously reported by myself as Table Pack 8. It now seems that the Premium Add-On Packs count toward the overall table pack numerical order.

FarSight Studios is mostly headed to the Texas Pinball Festival to show off The Pinball Arcade running in stereoscopic 3D. The team members hanging behind in Big Bear Lake, California are currently working on The Pinball Arcade engine for PS4, optimizing all kinds of bells and whistles with the expectation of running at a required 60 fps.

Will the PS4 version be free for those who have already purchased the PS3 or Vita versions a la Cross-Buy? Will Cross-Buy even exist on PS4? So many questions…
