Patches Released For PlayStation Mobile Titles iFishing and Crash Planets

Posted by on February 12th, 2013 | 0 Comments | Tags: , ,

It is hard to know when games on PlayStation Mobile receive patches. If you are used to the way games are patched on Vita it might seem a bit out of place. Instead of refreshing the Live Area to check for a patch, it seems that the PlayStation Mobile Runtime package will ping a server to check every time you launch a game. Also absent are patch notes like we see with Vita games, so it is up to developers to let people know what is fixed.

Both iFishing and Crash Planets received updates last week (along with Meltdown Moon), and we have some insight into what has changed.

Crash Planets

New to version 1.1.0

  • A stage select screen has been added.
  • There are now different ways to control the planet with touch.
  • A new multiplayer map has been added.
  • An options menu has been added with SFX and Music volume controls.
  • Times are now saved after you complete a level.

There was a crash bug present in the old version and I have not played enough to see if it is fixed.

iFishing

New to version 1.1.0

  • Performance optimizations made to menu screens
  • Bugfix for accessing locked lakes
