North American PSN Top 20 For May 2012

Journey sticks at number 2 for a second month in a row with The Walking Dead passing it up for the number one spot. Meanwhile Skullgirls has slipped from it’s debut spot at number 3 all the way out of the top 20.

    You would think that $0.99 games would be higher on the list.

    I dunno, the $0.99 cent games all got in the top 20, that still shows old games like that should be made cheaper more often, they wouldn’t be in the top 150 otherwise I’d bet.

    One was at #3, i think the reasons the rest were lower were that Journey and Walking Dead were awesome and Journey is highest selling PSN game of all time, where as some the pixeljunk games are not super great (i bought Eden for the .99 cent sale but don’t like it and wont buy the race one), and also people knew about journey and the others and came to PSN for them, where as most didn’t know about the .99 cent sale. Lastly many people own those games already, i know I had shooter and monsters already. All of which = less sales. But if you compare Shooter at #3 verses Shooter 2 ($4.99) not being on the list, then price was 100% a factor 🙂
