Rotastic Coming to PSN
Focus Home Interactive, a prominent French publisher (Faery:LoA), announced today that Rotastic is coming to the PSN. What’s Rotastic? Well, it’s an arcade/puzzle game developed by Dancing Dots. The only assets available are these four images:
The one-button gameplay mechanic is simple: press any button to hook your rope up to the nearest anchor point, spin around, gather momentum, and release the button to fly from point to point. There are nearly 70 levels which have various goals such as collecting gems, escaping deadly traps, battling other players, smashing bricks, perfecting acrobatics, smashing chickens, and flying through speed-runs. You can earn a bronze, silver, or gold helmet on each level, increasing replayability and motivation. There are also online leaderboards and up to four-player multiplayer races and deathmatch modes.
The game sounds really cool. Let’s hope a trailer arises soon to confirm that this will be a sweet PSN title. No word yet on a general release date.
