Only you can decide the fate of Rush Rush Rally Racing for Minis!

Ok, here’s the main thing. I don’t know if Rush Rush Rally Racing is a good game or not, I just know that this is a terrible idea. In a move that can only be described as “just plain dumb”, publisher redspotgames has decided that due to the recent PSN outage and leak, fans will be able to decide the fate of the Minis version.

I’m going to be blunt here, and say that this is quite frankly the silliest thing I’ve seen all day, and I sat through the entire royal wedding. This seems like the lowest thing possible, a publicity grabber of the highest order, in order to garner more interest in a title that would otherwise have hit Minis with little impact, and would likely have faded into obscurity. This is despite the apparent praise for the original Dreamcast version, which redspotgames also published. Yes, redspotgames is one of those companies that still puts out Dreamcast titles, which means that their main platforms are a dead SEGA console, WiiWare, PlayStation Minis and Xbox Live Indie Games. I’m not going to start slinging mud here, but this is quite clearly the work of crazy people, the kinds of folk who if they weren’t in the game publishing business, they would be running around town centres with sandwich boards that quite plainly state “The End Is Nigh”. I’m not going to link to their little survey, as if you truly care about RRRR, then you’ve already filled it in. This is quite simply a publisher trying to garner some publicity for their title, in a manner that can only be described as trolling. I’m going to ignore it, and so should you. They should be ashamed of themselves.
