Chris vs. Get Fit With Mel B – Day 2

I was in a bit of a rush today, so I had to shorten down the length of my workout. Luckily the game allows you to do this without penalty. Before I got into the workout though, I messed around a bit with the options. I wanted to check and see if I could play music from my PS3 HDD, because I like to listen to podcasts while I work out.

Unfortunately the game does not support custom soundtracks, or at least not through the XMB. So I turned off the dance music in the options and bumped up the volume on Mel so I could hear her scream “UPPACUTS” at me some more.

So as I said before I had to shorten my workout a bit today. I got up late and had to goto class so I dropped the total time down to 20min. I really like that the game allows for you to fully customize what you want to do, and it won’t be mad if you have to shorten it down. So I had another round of “Combat” today. I really wish it was something else, but whatever. Also in an attempt to make the game see me better I mounted the Eye on top of my monitor. So I MacGyver’d that camera up there with some masking tape and a bottle cap.

There were a few new variations in today’s workout which was nice. But the game still had trouble recognizing my kicks, which is a bummer since I think that is all that is holding me back from getting a gold. I did however get a trophy for doing 10 perfect reps in a row!
