New Sonic 4: Episode 1 Trailers

In a week and change, we’ll all be able to play a legitimate Sonic game on the PSN. Though I groaned about the $14.99 price tag in our episode 7 podcast, it seems as if I might have complained too soon. Three trailers surfaced today, each showing off a different level featured in Sonic 4: Episode 1. I’ve got to say I’m pretty impressed. What do you guys think?



Though the levels aren’t completely new, they do look spruced up enough to provide a newish Sonic experience. That flame in the Lost Labyrinth level is prettayyyy, prettayy, pretty cool. Now the only thing I can complain about is how there isn’t any 2-player racing mode. One of the guys at the Sega booth did say that they are considering adding that mode to later episodes, but for now we’re just going to have to settle with solo play. So, what’s the consensus? Is $15 too pricey? To be honest, I’m almost kind of barely ready to accept it.
