EA and Hothead Games announced a release date for their upcoming PSN RPG, DeathSpank. The game was developed under direction of Ron Gilbert, famed man behind The Secret of Monkey Island. DeathSpank is sure to take Gilbert’s biting wit and funny dialogue and mix it with a hack-n-slash, Gauntlet-esque magical RPG. The game features local cooperative play, and will be available July 13th for the price of $14.99. I’m wondering what makes the title rated T for Teen, but I guess you’ll find out Bastille Day Eve.

Don’t know much about the game, but I’m always looking for fun co-op games to play. I probably won’t get it when it comes out, but I’ll definitely check it out if it goes on sale.
