Review: Critter Crunch

Developer: Capybara Games
Release: Oct 08, 2009
Price: $6.99
Players: 1-2 (local and online)
Demo: Yes

What I liked:

  • The hand-drawn graphics (The game looks awesome in motion)
  • The robust features (4 Gameplay modes, Local and Network Multiplayer with Voice Chat)
  • The price (You can’t beat $7)
  • The power foods (Chili peppers are my favorite)

What I disliked:

  • The lack of custom soundtracks (Going to be addressed in a patch)
  • The difficulty towards the end of the game (Vegetarian Critters are tough)

Even with some of the levels getting insanely hard, it is hard to pass up this game. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend $7. Time to go back and finish up puzzle mode!
