Retro Invasion Announced for PS4

Threaks, the German developers responsible for Beatbuddy: Tale of Guardians, announced last week that their new title will be coming to Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
Retro Invasion is a co-op brawler that seeks to merge modern and old-school gaming trends. The trailer reveals some of this wacky mashup by showing Mike, the modern gunner, wading across a body of water while Rik, the retro brawler, drowns pathetically. The gameplay looks pretty sweet, to be honest. I imagine there’s going to be a light puzzle element to the mixture, requiring players to make the best use of modern or retro era strats.
The game is currently slated for Q4 2016, which seems very far away. We’ll keep you posted until then.
