Gone Home Is Currently Without A Home On Consoles

Nearly a year ago Fullbright announced a partnership with Midnight City to bring the critically acclaimed Gone Home PC game to consoles. The port was originally expected to launch late last year, but it never appeared. The continued financial woes of Majesco, Midnight City’s owner, and rumours of the label’s demise left a lot of doubt about whether or not the port would ever surface. Fullbright’s Steve Gaynor confirmed during a Colin & Greg Live interview that Gone Home isn’t currently in development for consoles. Majesco’s rights to the title have lapsed. Gaynor later states that Fullbright is now focused on the development of their next title, Tacoma.
Host Greg Miller then took to Twitter to request Sony handle a port. SCEA’s Director of Third Party Production & Developer Relations, Gio Corsi, responded to the comment stating that he’d “gladly reconnect and chat with [Fullbright].”
