While Konami has yet to set a date for their PSP Yu-Gi-Oh! crossover, they gave a copy of the game to the editors at V-JUMP magazine. So far the duo have put out three different videos; Performapal Vs. Different Dimension Demon, Performapal Vs. Synchron Extreme and to change the formula up a bit, one video that digs into the Arc-V Story mode. At the end of each video new partner characters were revealed:

Yu-Gi-Oh!
Mai Valentine
Ishizu Ishtar

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
Alexis Rhodes
Bastion Misawa

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds
Akiza Izinski
Kalin Kessler

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
Tori Meadows
Rio Kastle

Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V
Yuzu Hiragi
Shingo Sawatari

Combined with the characters previously revealed to be playable, this brings the roster up to 25. That total jives with the amount of characters the guide book will cover. Speaking of the guide book, it’ll be released on January 21st, which gives us a good indication on when the game will be out. The guide also contains Harpie’s Harpist, an exclusive promo card for the physical TCG.

The Story mode video embedded above gives a good demonstration on what you can expect from Tag Force Special. Each story is divided by specific series with a map then given to showcase available opponents. It looks like the exploration from previous Tag Force games has been removed in favour of a more straight forward approach. Voice acting and special CG animation seem to be also missing from this entry.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V Tag Force Special launches sometime this winter in Japan for 3000yen. While it’s a PSP game, Konami expects it to be playable on PS Vita. No western release has been confirmed, though a petition to make one happen is circulating around the net.
