XSEED’s larger than life ninjas just made their western Vita debut a few weeks ago with Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus. With that title behind them, the company has now officially announced the release date for Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit!, the rhythm game spinoff exclusive to Vita. Taking place as a result of Master Hanzo’s hunger, the leader implores his pupils to make the Super Dish, something so bountiful and delicious, words cannot describe its tastiness.
As the previous Senran Kagura games have been brawlers, Bon Appétit offers a unique spin on the series with its rhythm gameplay. Instead of chaining hit combos, players are going to have to keep the beat to musical tracks sung by six of the girls, as well as various other pieces of music ranging from classical to jazz.
The base package contains 10 songs to perfect and 10 super dishes to create from day one. This will cost $14.99, with the Gessen x Hebijo DLC pack (also $14.99) doubling the content and bringing the shinobi count up to 20. Each shinobi has her own individual story to tell, so it might be worth playing for fans.
Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit! launches on November 11th in North America with Europe getting it the next day.
