PS4’s Assault Suit Leynos Slips To 2015 In Japan

Announced earlier this year at BitSummit 2014, Dracue, the developers of Gunhound EX announced that they were reviving the Assault Suit series of horizontal mech shooters for PS4. Assault Suit Leynos was originally scheduled for a release in 2014, but the game has been delayed to May 2015 to better the final product. This will allow the team to add co-operative play as well as additional endings.
The Assault Suit series dates back to 1990’s original Assault Suit Leynos on the Sega Genesis. That game was localized as Target Earth. A western release for this latest entry has yet to be announced.
