Bit.Trip Creators Reveal A New Name And A New Game For Vita

Gaijin Games, the folks that brought you the wonderful Bit.Trip series of games, have decided to change their name to Choice Provisions. The company decided on the fresh start after feeling that Gaijin, a word that has negative connotations in certain communities, didn’t really represent the cheerful group. All previously released titles will still bear the original moniker, as will any future Bit.Trip games. This name change came in conjunction with Robotube, a small studio owned by Choice Provisions, becoming MiniVisions. It’s that branch of the company that is developing Woah! Dave for PS Vita, Android, 3DS and iOS.

Woah! Dave is a difficult score-chasing game where everything – including your own weapons – are out to kill you.

The game will be out sometime this summer.
