BurgerTime World Tour set to be removed from PSN at the end of the month

Monkey Paw Games originally launched BurgerTime World Tour in November of 2011 as a reboot of Data East’s classic arcade series, but it looks like the game is about to close up shop. Due to a license expiration, Monkey Paw will have to remove the game from all digital storefronts on April 30th. PS3 gamers that want a taste of virtual burgers can buy the game at a discounted price of $4.99. Most delisted PSN content remains downloadable to users that purchased it, but Monkey Paw hasn’t commented on if that will be the case for BurgerTime World Tour.

If you are hankering to serve up some digital burgers, you’ll be happy to know that the game features over 50 levels, and four bosses through four themed environments. BurgerTime World Tour adds its own spin to the series with its Rotary Environment System, allowing cylindrical 3D levels to rotate around a center axis and the player to build around the circumference.
