Spring Fever 2014 reveals release dates and prices for SteamWorld Dig, LUFTRAUSERS, and FEZ

Apparently March Madness is going to refer to more than just College Basketball this year, as we’re about to get swamped with releases through the PlayStation Store’s Spring Fever 2014. Headlining the content barrage is a handful of long-awaited indie games including SteamWorld Dig, LUFTRAUSERS, and FEZ.

Originally launched on 3DS last year, SteamWorld Dig is a 2D platformer from Image & Form for PS4 and PS Vita. Players take on role of Rusty as he arrives in an old mining town that’s in need of help. You’ll need to dig deep underground to find minerals that you can sell for upgrades as well as uncover an ancient threat that lies beneath the surface. SteamWorld Dig will run at 1080p on PS4, and Vita’s native resolution. It’ll be out on March 18th in North America.

Also hitting on March 18th is Vlambeer’s LUFTRAUSERS. The constantly delayed title is finally set for release, and will bring a hectic arcade shooter experience to PS3, and PS Vita.

Next we have Polytron’s FEZ on March 25th. Ported by Blit Software, the PlayStation versions of this acclaimed puzzle platformer promise to be some of the best yet. Performance will range from 60fps/1080p on PS4 and 60fps/720p on PS3, to a “smooth” frame rate on PS Vita at native resolution. Those on PlayStation 4 can expect 3DTV compatibility. Additionally, the game supports Cross-Save across all platforms.

All three support Cross-Buy and will have a 20% PlayStation Plus discount upon release. Check out the prices for those three, alongside the rest of the Spring Fever 2014 indie lineup in the image below:

The promotion also brings big discounts to Need for Speed, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, and Bioshock content. As this post is already way too long, I suggest waiting for our Weekly Deals Circular, or of course check the first PlayStation Blog post linked below.
