Strider coming to PS3 and PS4 on February 18th

Capcom today confirmed that their new Strider game will be releasing on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on February 18th for $14.99. Along with the release date we also have new information on two new game modes.

Beacon Run is a speed-run style mode in which you’ll need to get from checkpoint to checkpoint as quickly as possible while slashing through enemies. In Survival mode you’ll face off against various waves of enemies as you attempt to get the highest ranking possible. Each of these challenge modes as well as the story mode will feature global leaderboards.

At this time of writing there’s no confirmation on whether or not Strider will support any sort of cross-platform features (cross-buy or cross-save) between PS3 and PS4 versions.
