New version of AR monster catching game AfterZoom is headed to Vita
In 2011, Spanish studio Abylight released AfterZoom on DSiWare. The game adapted real world science to the popular monster catching formula through augmented reality usage. Earlier this month the company announced that a new version would be heading to multiple mobile platforms, including PS Vita.
This new release of the game will contain overhauled visuals with the style skewing more towards a cartoonish look, as well as a revamped user interface. One of the new additions has players testing organisms through mini-game competitions.
AfterZoom is expected to hit PSN in June 2014.
