Futurlab is celebrating their 10th birthday as a developer of finely crafted video games. And what better way to do so than by announcing that their hit Vita game Velocity Ultra is coming to PSN for PlayStation 3 next week thanks to the stellar folks at Curve Studios.
James Marsden is the Man In Charge Managing Director at Futurlab and had this to say about the game and working with Curve:
After the amazing reception of the Vita version, we were really eager to allow as many people to get their hands on our nippy little Quarp Jet as possible. Working with Curve has allowed us to make that a reality, and I’m proud to say the PlayStation 3 version maintains every inch of the speed, excitement and quality of the Vita original.
North America will see the game in next week’s PSN Store update on November 12th to be precise, while Europe will get it on the 13th when their store updates. Velocity Ultra hopes to grab your attention yet again by being presented in glorious high-definition on your hopefully big HDTV and being played using the DualShock 3.
Futurlab is currently working on Velocity 2x for the PS4 and Vita expected to ship (pun intended) sometime in 2014. I highly encourage you to read Ben’s 5-star review for Velocity Ultra on Vita. Let us know in the comments below if you’re going to double-dip in some Velocity Ultra?
