Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z releases on January 28th in North America
Namco Bandai has announced a January 28th launch date for their latest Dragon Ball Z brawler. Developed by Japanese studio Artdink, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z features over 70 characters, giant boss battles and large fighting environments. The game also boasts a focus on multiplayer combat including online co-operative battles up to four players, and up to eight player Vs. in Battle Royale. Players will even be able to take on characters from the new Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods animated film. The game also supports Cross Save on PS3, and PS Vita allowing players to transfer game progress.
While Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will be available at retail on PS3 and 360, the Vita version will be a PSN exclusive in North America. Additionally, that Vita version will only include English voice acting due to size constraints. There are currently no plans to add the Japanese dialog as downloadable content. If you’re from Europe and Asia, the Vita version will be available at retail and PSN with the voice acting expected to be in Japanese. Pricing details weren’t shared.
