Magic 2014 – Duels of the Planeswalkers Launch Trailer

With another summer approaching, there’s one constant that we can always count on. No, not Desmond Hume! I’m speaking of another installment in the Duels of the Planeswalkers series. Magic the Gathering 2014 will be releasing sometime this summer, and Sean Gibbons, the Wizards community coordinator, has recorded a couple of videos familiarizing fans with the new bells and whistles attached to this version.

From the looks of it, there have been both slight and relatively major improvements to the game. Small tweaks like the “attack with all” button streamline gameplay while the sealed deck builder looks to be the closest to customizable decks we’ve seen yet. There’s a part of me that still gets excited when I see MTG being played. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. More info to come in the near future.
