Nostatic Software bringing titles to PSM

It looks like we have some more PSM titles to look forward to playing as Mike Oliphant of Nostatic Software has announced that he has started working on development for PlayStation Mobile.

Mike, whose previous games have appeared on Xbox 360 via their Indie Games Marketplace and mobile devices like Android and iOS, got his hands on the PSM software development kit earlier this week. Within a couple of days he had his 2d game engine ported over and a day later had one of his games, Sokoban for Beginners, up and running on the Vita. Make sure to check out his development blog if you are interested in learning more about his experience working with the PSM devkit.

He is currently working on finishing up and adding new content to Ascent of Kings, a game he made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare #20, that he is hoping to have ready for other platforms soon.  Ascent Kings is one of the games he is planning on bringing to PSM along with past titles Quiet Please! and Kung Fu Fight! with the possibility of Tunescape and Block Zombies in the future.

He currently doesn’t have a concrete release date for when these titles will be avaialable but he mentioned on Twitter that he is anticipating having a game ready for release on PSM in the next month or so. Once closer to launch we will be sure to have more information on these fun looking titles.
