What Is Mix Superstar?

There is an interesting piece of software coming out on the PlayStation Network tomorrow. No not PixelJunk 4am or JAM Live Music Arcade this is Mix Superstar a beat creation tool and mixing program by Digital Leisure.

One thing that sets this apart from those other games is that it uses 100% royalty-free music. This means that you can export all of the mixes that you create to share or even sell them. USB mic support is also supported, so if you wanna lay down some sick rhymes over these tracks, have at it.

Because this is much like a computer program like FL Studio there is Move support, so you can drag and drop around files much like with a mouse. There is also an in-game store so that you can buy even more loops from styles like “Pop, Latin, House, Reggae and even World.”

The game will be out this week on both the NA and EU stores, but we don’t have a price yet. We will try to get a copy so we can show to what the heck this actually is.
