[Update] Almost All LittleBigPlanet Costumes Transferable to Vita and Karting Releases

Update: It looks like a few costumes won’t be making the jump to LBP Karting. The Assassin’s Creed costumes and an April Fools Fragrance Costume will have to be left out.

Today on Twitter, President of Worldwide Studios, Sony Computer Entertainment, Shuhei Yoshida announced that all costumes previously purchased for LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 would be transferable to LittleBigPlanet Vita when it releases on September 25 and LittleBigPlanet Karting on November 6.  Yoshida did not mention whether any costumes purchased for the PSP LittleBigPlanet release would be transferable as well.

This is great news for anyone who was on the fence about the titles.  Yoshida jokingly referred to the cross-game usages as “Quad Cross Buy”, referencing Sony’s Gamecom announcement of Cross Buy titles, where the purchase of a game on the Playstation 3 system would include the same title’s Vita release at no additional cost.
