Doc Clock Is Coming To PSN

Good news everybody! Doc Clock, the mad scientist with a suspiciously time bending moniker, is going to be making his PSN debut very soon indeed. Announced today on the PlayStation Blog, the good Doctor’s adventure “Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich Of Time” is set to hit PSN “soon”. While this is all very well, knowing what the game actually is would be a worthwhile step forwards. So, the developers thought of that too.

In what sounds like a mixture of Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and LittleBigPlanet, players are going to be constructing their own vehicles out of scraps they find in the game’s levels, piecing together their mad contraptions chunk by chunk. Of course, you’re going to have to contend with Doc Clock’s robot sidekick SACK, who the developer says will be “berating you at every turn about every move you make and every step you take”. So, the robot is passive aggressive and likes the work of sting? I think I might have found my soul mate right there. Except for the fact that its a robot.

Speaking of soulless machines, I’m also pleased to report that the game will feature PlayStation Move support, and a sandbox mode will be unlocked upon completion of the game. Of course, a bunch of tweaks over the game’s original PC release will be making the jump too, in case you were wondering if the Doc could lift items while seated in the time machine now. He totally can, by the way. Doc Clock is out “soon”
