Vita’s First 2 (In SCEE Regions At Least) Discovery Apps Revealed

Ok, so I wasn’t expecting this. Frobisher Says and t@g, two of the stranger looking Vita applications, are going to both be released in May, and better yet, they’re going to be completely free. As in, you don’t have to pay for them. Given that there’s some good news in this post already, allow me to give you some even better news. They both look pretty interesting, and are definitely going to test every possible means of input the Vita has available. Frobisher Says especially, as its a warioware-esque minigame compilation featuring a demanding little man called, who else, Frobisher. Here’s a trailer for the game, which is as gloriously kooky as you might imagine;

t@g, on the other hand, looks like a more sedate sort of game. It’s all very augmented reality, with players marking their virtual territory with all manner of urban art. The game isn’t going to be compatible with the Wifi model of the Vita though, owing to its use of the 3G version’s built in GPS, but I’m sure there will be enough 3G Vita owners to populate wherever you live. Unless you live somewhere completely bizarre, like Guernsey. You’ll be the graffiti king of Guernsey. Here’s a trailer for that too;

The Vita is out February 22nd, with a bundle released a week early for those of you who really can’t wait a second longer. Frobisher Says and t@g will be out in May, with people who preorder the Vita in SCEE regions getting the game at launch. You lucky devils, you.
