As a strong supporter of Sonic 4, I was really excited to see what the “new graphics engine” used in Episode 2 could muster. Thanks to the Xbox Live Marketplace, some new images of the game have been leaked. Besides the slightly updated visuals, you can catch a glimpse at the bonus stage. While it isn’t Sonic 3′s sphere levels, I do have a soft spot for the ones used in Sonic 2.

You can also see that Sonic and Tails can team up for a hand-holding jump move. While there isn’t a release date yet, we will keep you posted!
