PSN Is Back Up (Mostly)

Update:
Chris here with some news for those of you with Asian PSN accounts. If you have a Japanese or Asian (Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea) account it seems that the service has not been restored. No word on when they will be back, but it seems that the network service in Japan will have to be approved by the Japanese government before it is given the green light.

Original Story:
Jump on and update your firmware to Version 3.61.  After that, you’ll be forced to change your sign in password.  From there you can jump back on.  Sony had been rolling out functionality in waves across the states last night, but it looks like everybody in the US is up right now.   I’ve already flooded the PSNStores editors with junk messages to “test” the functionality.

No store yet, but we do have the following services up:

-PSN sign in
-Online Gaming
-Friends list/Chat Functionality
-Trophy Comparison
-Playstation Home
-Qriocity

Hope on and have fun folks, looks like we’re through the worst of it.  Check out what else Kaz has to say below.
