With what is now my new favorite title for a Minis game, 2D Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character has been rated by the ESRB. Coming to the Minis platform by developer Dakko Dakko, a company formed by industry vets whose games include Fable and the PixelJunk Monsters, 2D Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character is at its very core a platformer.
As you can see the controls are very simple. All you have at your disposal is jumping and reversing your direction. Along the way you must pick up those smaller octopuses in a variety of stages.
ESRB rating speak:
This is a platformer game in which players control a perpetually rotating octopus. As players roll and jump through each level, they collect baby octopi and evade whimsical enemies (e.g., ghosts, aliens, barking dogs); levels restart when players’ health is depleted. In one level, players must avoid small knives that a chef enemy tosses around the screen.
Rated E for Everyone, 2D Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character should be out in May in the EU if PSN ever comes back.
