Gameloft has just announced Dungeon Hunter: Alliance, a Diablo-style RPG currently slated exclusively for the PlayStation Network. The game will feature 4 player co-op, both Locally and Online. The trailer follows, and the game looks set to be a great title. The iPhone version of the game was great, so I’m fully confident that the PSN version of the game will be just as good, but with the benefit of a control scheme that uses actual buttons, rather than touch screen controls.

Red warrior needs food badly!
Reminds me of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, which would definitely be fun to play with four player co-op.
I am anxiously awaiting this title. Efforts so far on the PS3 for multiplayer action rpg’s have been dismal at best (i.e. Sacred, Dark Kingdom). Here’s hoping it is available by the end of the year.

Tom, I agree, we need more of this type of local/online coop hack and slash. I want to relive gauntlet! Best I’ve seen in recent days is trine (#2 is coming) and lara croft Guardian of light (both psn). Really looking forward to this game.
I played it in November and it’s rather good. I just hope it comes out sometime soon, otherwise it’ll be forgotten! Check out my hands-on article: http://www.psnstores.com/2010/11/dungeon-hunter-alliance-hands-on/
