Hidden Object Games, or HOGs, are a huge market for casual game players. Hudson is trying their best to crack that market on the PS3 with Dream Chronicles.
“Dream Chronicles has been enchanting players on Windows PC for several years and soon console players will get the chance to solve the mystery of this dreamscape,” said Sabine Duvall, Vice President of Digital Download at Hudson Entertainment. “We look forward to welcoming fans and new players alike to the experience of this surreal world.”
There is no price set for this title yet, but expect to see it hitting the PSN Store something this spring.

I’m really surprised we haven’t seen more of these. There’s a huge gap between the offerings on something like Big Fish Games and the various console stores. There’s a little bit of crossover, but not a whole lot.
Of course, pricing is the thing. Most casual PC games go for $6.99, the starting point for most console games is $9.99 (usually $15)
